The roots of our company go back to 1937, when Hermann Gutmann founded Leichtmetall-Drahtwerk Hermann Gutmann. | After his death in 1987, the company’s ownership was transferred to the foundation ‘Hermann Gutmann Stiftung’. In his lifetime Hermann Gutmann was nominated honorary citizen in his native town Weißenburg. | GAD was established on January 01, 2002, when it was disincorporated from Hermann Gutmann Werke GmbH. One stockholder, at 51 per cent, is Gutmann & Gutmann GmbH; 49 per cent are owned by Hermann Gutmann Werke AG.
The foundation promotes scientific research and supports general education and vocational training effectively. |
